各位委员：
    第十届“国际工程地质大会”将于2006年9月6-10日在英国诺丁汉（www.iaeg2006.com）召开，会议主题为“明日城市工程地质”，会议论文正在征集中，请大家积极撰写论文。
    同时在召开大会之前将召开大会执委会及理事会会议，会上将投票选举第十一届国际工程地质大会主办国，我国和新西兰同时递交了申请书，大会主办权竞争比较激烈，所以我国在第十届国际工程地质大会上的论文投稿及参会人数都将直接影响理事会成员代表对中国的态度，所以专委会及IAE中国国家小组特发此通知，建议大家积极投稿，积极参会。
